Natural cow leather tanned using a vegetable tanning technique. The soft leather retains the individual grain pattern of the skin that will age beautifully. The leather may relax and soften over time and the grain will become more pronounced with age and use, as a natural characteristic of this leather type.

We founded Lidia May as Social Enterprise so that the business can build up disadvantaged communities. Currently we support a primary school for children in urban slums and job-skills programs for women, positively impacting over 1,000 children and 400 women to date.

Our original designs have a foundation of good taste and good materials. We believe in designs that celebrate human cultures across time. Therefore, we actively preserve traditional fashion crafts, and explore new ways of fashion expression.
100% Natural Leather
We use 100% natural full grain leathers, that’s the most expensive and durable part of cow hides.
Our leathers are tanned using vegetable tannins, natural wax and dyes, which adds strengths and luster to the leather and allows it to age beautifully.
Our pieces are crafted in small batches by local craftsmen trained in the European Leather Craft tradition. We work on the ground in Bangladesh to promote sustainable practices in the leather industry.
